Environmental Assessment for Potential Commercial Wind Lease Issuance and Site Assessment Activities on the Atlantic Outer Continental Shelf (OCS) Offshore Massachusetts

The Bureau of Ocean Energy Management (BOEM) has released an environmental assessment for potential commercial wind lease issuance and site assessment activities on the Atlantic Outer Continental Shelf (OCS) offshore Massachusetts. The assessment considers the environmental impacts of issuing renewable energy leases and site characterization activities, as well as the installation and operation of meteorological towers and buoys.
