Notice of Amended Proposed Withdrawal for Solar Energy Zones in Six Southwestern States

The Assistant Secretary of the Interior for Policy, Management and Budget has approved an amendment to withdraw public lands in Arizona, California, Colorado, Nevada, New Mexico, and Utah from settlement, sale, location, and entry under the public land laws to protect and preserve Solar Energy Zones for future solar energy development, increasing the proposed withdrawal term to 20 years and revising legal descriptions for the remaining SEZs.
