Federal Transit Administration Seeks Public Comment on Rail Safety Oversight System

The Federal Transit Administration is seeking public comment on a proposal to extend the approval of a safety oversight system for rail transit agencies, which is currently set to expire. The proposal, which was first introduced in 2011, aims to monitor the safety of rail transit agencies and has been under review by the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) since then.
