FMCSA Exempts 16 Individuals with Diabetes Mellitus from Commercial Motor Vehicle Rule

The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) has exempted 16 individuals with insulin-treated diabetes mellitus (ITDM) from a rule prohibiting them from operating commercial motor vehicles (CMVs) in interstate commerce. These exemptions will allow the individuals to drive CMVs across state lines.
