Con-way Freight, TK Holdings, Inc., and Iteris, Inc. Receive Temporary Exemption for Lane Departure Warning System Installation

The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) has granted a temporary exemption to Con-way Freight, TK Holdings, Inc., and Iteris, Inc., allowing them to install lane departure warning system sensors lower in the windshield of commercial vehicles than the current regulations permit. This exemption aims to enhance safety by alerting drivers who unintentionally drift out of their lane.
