Lycoming Engines Issues Airworthiness Directive for Fuel Injected Reciprocating Engines

Lycoming Engines is revising its Mandatory Service Bulletin to add engine models requiring inspections, and is issuing a new airworthiness directive to prevent engine fires caused by fuel injector fuel line failures, requiring inspection and replacement if necessary, and proper clamping of externally mounted fuel injector fuel lines.
