Eurocopter France Proposes New Airworthiness Directive for Certain Helicopter Models Due to Jamming Issues

Eurocopter France is proposing a new airworthiness directive for select Eurocopter helicopter models, the SA330F, G, J, AS332C, L, L1, and L2, following reports of jammed fuel shut-off control levers caused by solidified grease in the gearbox and corrosion. The proposed directive aims to prevent engine fuel shut-off and electrical power system shutdown during emergencies.
