Dairyland Power Cooperative Extends Public Comment Period for CapX 2020 Transmission Line Project

The Rural Utilities Service is extending the public comment period for the Draft Environmental Impact Statement for the proposed 345-kV transmission line and associated infrastructure between Hampton, Minnesota and La Crosse, Wisconsin, to meet its responsibilities under the National Environmental Policy Act and 7 CFR 1794, as part of a project to improve community and regional reliability and increase generation outlet capacity for Dairyland Power Cooperative and other participating utilities.
