NIFA to Solicit Public Comments on Agriculture and Food Research Initiative Program

The National Institute of Food and Agriculture (NIFA) is seeking public input on its Agriculture and Food Research Initiative (AFRI) program, which was established in 2009 as part of the Food, Conservation, and Energy Act of 2008. NIFA will publish a final rule with request for comments within 90 days, following a public meeting and soliciting public comments on program-specific administrative provisions.
