USDA Amends National Organic Standards Board Recommendations

The US Department of Agriculture (USDA) has finalized a rule amending the National List of Allowed and Prohibited Substances to include recommendations from the National Organic Standards Board (NOSB) submitted in 2008 and 2009, adding substances for organic mushroom and handling production, and removing bleached lecithin from the list.
