US Amends Regulations to Allow Importation of Chinese Wooden Handicrafts

The US government has revised its regulations to permit the importation of Chinese wooden handicrafts under specific conditions, following a 2005 suspension due to concerns over pest risks, and after APHIS issued over 300 emergency action notices and national recalls between 2002 and 2005.
