U.S. Forest Service to Prepare Environmental Impact Statement for Rim Lakes Forest Restoration Project in Arizona

The U.S. Forest Service will assess the environmental impacts of a proposed project to restore and conserve 33,010 acres of forest in the Apache-Sitgreaves National Forest, aiming to make the ecosystem more resilient to natural disturbances and improve forest health, wildlife habitats, and scenic quality.
