USDA Amends National List of Allowed and Prohibited Substances for Organic Livestock

The US Department of Agriculture (USDA) has finalized a rule to add fenbendazole and moxidectin to the National List of Allowed and Prohibited Substances, allowing their use as parasiticides in organic livestock production, following recommendations from the National Organic Standards Board (NOSB) in 2004 and 2008.
