USDA Proposes Revision to Almond Standards

The Agricultural Marketing Service (AMS) of the US Department of Agriculture (USDA) is proposing to revise the United States Standards for Grades of Almonds in the Shell to align inspection procedures and determine internal defects by weight instead of count, in response to industry requests.
