USDA Amends National Organic Program to Include New Substances

The US Department of Agriculture (USDA) has finalized a rule to update the National List of Allowed and Prohibited Substances, incorporating recommendations from the National Organic Standards Board (NOSB) on tetracycline, formic acid, and attapulgite for use in organic farming and processing.
