US Department of Agriculture Finalizes Rule for Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program Disqualified Recipient Reporting and Computer Matching Requirements

The US Department of Agriculture has finalized a rule requiring State agencies to screen all program applicants for disqualified recipients prior to certification, and to participate in a computer matching program using a system of records required by the Computer Matching and Privacy Protection Act of 1988, as amended, to ensure accurate prisoner verification and death matching procedures.
