US Department of Agriculture Proposes Changes to SNAP Retailer Sanctions

The US Department of Agriculture is proposing changes to the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) retailer sanction regulations, updating rules to include authority granted by the 2008 Farm Bill to impose civil penalties and raise allowable penalties per violation.
