US Forest Service Corrects Environmental Impact Statement Notice for Andrew Pickens Ranger District

The US Forest Service has corrected a notice to reflect a year-long delay in filing an environmental impact statement (EIS) for the removal of off-site loblolly pine plantations and restoration of native vegetation on the Andrew Pickens Ranger District in South Carolina. The corrected notice also updates the proposed acreage and road distances based on improved mapping and field surveys.
