FERC Proposes Revisions to Pipeline Regulations to Prevent Affiliate Bidding Abuse
The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission is proposing changes to its pipeline regulations to prevent multiple affiliates of the same company from bidding on pipeline capacity in open seasons, unless they have a legitimate business reason to do so. The Commission aims to prevent affiliates from unfairly competing for capacity allocations.
