DOE to Host Public Meeting on Offshore Renewable Energy Information Needs

The Department of Energy (DOE) is hosting a public meeting to gather information from interested parties on the existing needs for acquiring meteorological and oceanographic data to support the cost-effective deployment of offshore renewable energy plants, especially wind and marine hydrokinetic (MHK) technologies. The meeting aims to address the information needs for resource assessment and design conditions for these renewable energy sources.
