DOE Determines 2007 Energy Standard for Buildings Achieves Greater Energy Efficiency

The US Department of Energy has determined that the 2007 edition of the Energy Standard for Buildings, Except Low-Rise Residential Buildings, would achieve greater energy efficiency in buildings subject to the code, resulting in national source energy savings of approximately 3.9 percent of commercial building energy consumption, and site energy savings of approximately 4.6 percent.
