U.S. Department of State Announces 30-Day Public Comment Period for TransCanada Keystone Pipeline Presidential Permit Application

The U.S. Department of State has initiated a 30-day public comment period for TransCanada Keystone Pipeline, L.P.'s application for a Presidential Permit to construct, operate, and maintain a 875-mile pipeline across the U.S.-Canada border, transporting up to 830,000 barrels of crude oil per day from Alberta, Canada and the Bakken shale formation in North Dakota and Montana.
