U.S. Government Approves Importation of Culturally Significant Plains Indian Artifacts for Exhibition

The U.S. government has officially approved the importation of culturally significant Plains Indian artifacts for a temporary exhibition at The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art in Kansas City, MO, and The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, NY. The exhibition, titled "The Plains Indians: Artists of Earth and Sky," will run from September 19, 2014, to January 11, 2015, and possibly later at other venues.
