U.S. Issues Final Regulations on Reporting Interest Paid to Nonresident Aliens

The U.S. government has released final regulations requiring commercial banks, savings institutions, credit unions, securities brokerages, and insurance companies to report interest paid to nonresident alien individuals on deposits held at U.S. offices of these financial institutions.
