FinCEN Proposes Renewal of Currency Transaction Report Data Fields Without Change

The Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN) is seeking public comment on the renewal of the current data fields required for filing Currency Transaction Reports (CTR) with the U.S. Department of the Treasury, as mandated by the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA). The proposed renewal does not introduce new regulatory requirements or alter existing filing procedures.
