Proposed Affordable Care Act Rules Limit 90-Day Waiting Periods and Update Health Coverage Requirements

The proposed rules aim to implement the 90-day waiting period limitation under the Affordable Care Act, while also updating health coverage requirements and conforming to existing provisions, including those related to preexisting conditions and portability, as amended by the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996.
