OSHA Issues Final Rule for Underground Construction and Demolition

On August 17, 2012, OSHA issued a notice of proposed rulemaking and a companion direct final rule, proposing to apply the 2010 cranes and derricks construction standard to underground construction and demolition work, as well as correcting errors in the underground construction and demolition standards.
