OSHA Approves Change in Puerto Rico State Plan, Reinstating Federal Enforcement Authority Over Private Sector Employment on Federal Properties and Marine Construction

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) has approved a new Operational Status Agreement with the Puerto Rico State Plan, which outlines the areas of responsibility for both parties and reinstates federal OSHA enforcement authority over private sector employment on federal properties and marine construction conducted by private sector employees, effective immediately.
