Correction to Marine Mammal Regulation for Neptune LNG Facility in Massachusetts Bay

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) is correcting a regulation issued by the National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) for the Neptune Deepwater Port in Massachusetts Bay. The regulation, which governs the unintentional taking of marine mammals during the port's operations, had an incorrect period of effectiveness. The correction adjusts the period to July 11, 2011, through August 10, 2016, aligning with the original 30-day waiting period after publication in the Federal Register.
