NMFS Announces Environmental Assessment for Amendment 4 to 2006 Atlantic Highly Migratory Species Fishery Management Plan

The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) plans to prepare an Environmental Assessment (EA) instead of an Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) for Amendment 4 to the 2006 Consolidated Atlantic Highly Migratory Species Fishery Management Plan, which aims to assess the environmental impacts of proposed changes to commercial HMS fisheries in U.S. waters of the Caribbean and Puerto Rico.
