NOAA Prepares SEIS for La Jolla Facility Replacement Project

NOAA is preparing a Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement (SEIS) to assess the environmental impacts of replacing its La Jolla, CA facility, following changes to the original proposal. The SEIS will be prepared in accordance with federal regulations and may also be supplemented by the University of California San Diego under California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) requirements.
