Coast Guard Establishes 500-Yard Security Zone for Hazardous Cargo Vessels in Columbia River

The US Coast Guard is setting up a 500-yard perimeter around ships carrying hazardous materials in the Columbia River, following a determination by the Captain of the Port that the zone is necessary and enforceable.
