Modification to Letter of Authorization for Geophysical Surveys in the Gulf of America

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) has modified a Letter of Authorization (LOA) for Future Energy Consultants (FEC) to take marine mammals incidental to geophysical surveys related to oil and gas activities in the Gulf of America (GOA), in accordance with the Marine Mammal Protection Act (MMPA). The change was made to align with the MMPA's implementing regulations and NOAA's MMPA regulations for the GOA.
