DEA Proposes to Classify Perampanel as Schedule III Controlled Substance

The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) is proposing to move the pharmaceutical substance perampanel into Schedule III of the Controlled Substances Act (CSA), following a recommendation from the Assistant Secretary for Health at the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and an evaluation of relevant data by the DEA.
