DEA Proposes to Move Tramadol to Schedule IV Under Controlled Substances Act

The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) is proposing to place tramadol, a pain-relieving medication, into Schedule IV of the Controlled Substances Act, following a recommendation from the Assistant Secretary for Health at the Department of Health and Human Services and an evaluation of relevant data.
