Bureau of Prisons Updates Compassionate Release Regulations

The Bureau of Prisons has revised its compassionate release policies, requiring the General Counsel to consult with the US Attorney in the district where the inmate was sentenced before making a decision, with final approval resting with the Attorney General and Deputy Attorney General.
