HHS to Publish Grant and Contract Solicitations for CER Projects Funded by ARRA

The Department of Health and Human Services plans to publish solicitations for new Comparative Effectiveness Research (CER) projects, which were allocated $400 million from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA). The projects will focus on priority conditions, Institute of Medicine topic recommendations, and evidence gaps, with a special emphasis on underserved populations such as low-income groups, minorities, women, and children.
