FDA Confirms Effective Date for Astaxanthin Dimethyldisuccinate Rule

The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has confirmed the effective date of December 8, 2009, for a final rule that allows the safe use of astaxanthin dimethyldisuccinate as a color additive in salmonid fish feed to enhance their flesh color.
