HHS to Evaluate Petition for Energy Employees Occupational Illness Compensation Program
The US Department of Health and Human Services has announced its decision to evaluate a petition to include a class of employees from the De Soto Facility in Los Angeles County, California, in the Special Exposure Cohort under the Energy Employees Occupational Illness Compensation Program Act of 2000, which covers employees who worked at the facility from 1959 to 1964.
