U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Proposes Endangered Status for Two Freshwater Mussels

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service is proposing to list the spectaclecase mussel and sheepnose mussel as endangered under the Endangered Species Act, which would provide federal protection to these species in 15 states across the country.
