BOEMRE Announces Proposed Lease Area for Commercial Wind Development on Outer Continental Shelf Off Delaware

The Bureau of Ocean Energy Management, Regulation and Enforcement (BOEMRE) has issued a notice of proposed lease area for commercial wind development on the Outer Continental Shelf (OCS) off Delaware, seeking expressions of competitive interest from qualified companies. The proposed lease area was identified through a Request for Interest (RFI) published in the Federal Register on April 26, 2010, and Bluewater Wind Delaware LLC (Bluewater) has been deemed qualified to hold an OCS commercial wind lease.
