U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Announces 12-Month Finding on Petition to List Pacific Walrus as Endangered or Threatened

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service has determined that listing the Pacific walrus as endangered or threatened is warranted, but is currently precluded by higher priority actions. A proposed rule to list the Pacific walrus is expected to be developed in the future.
