US Fish and Wildlife Service Announces 12-Month Finding on Petition to List Five Plant Species as Endangered or Threatened

The US Fish and Wildlife Service has announced a 12-month finding on a petition to list five plant species, including Astragalus hamiltonii, Penstemon flowersii, Eriogonum soredium, Lepidium ostleri, and Trifolium friscanum, as endangered or threatened under the Endangered Species Act of 1973. The Service finds that listing three of the species is warranted, but precluded by higher priority actions, and will add them to the candidate species list upon publication of the finding.
