US Fish and Wildlife Service Announces 12-Month Finding on Petition to List Mt. Charleston Blue Butterfly as Endangered or Threatened

The US Fish and Wildlife Service has determined that listing the Mt. Charleston blue butterfly as endangered or threatened under the Endangered Species Act of 1973 is warranted, but is currently precluded by higher priority actions. The species will be added to the candidate species list, and a proposed rule will be developed to list it as priorities allow.
