U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Initiates Status Review for Longfin Smelt
The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service is launching a comprehensive review of the longfin smelt, a fish species, to determine if it should be listed under the Endangered Species Act of 1973, and is seeking scientific and commercial data to inform the process.
