US Fish and Wildlife Service Announces 12-Month Finding on Petition to List Endangered Species
The US Fish and Wildlife Service has announced a 12-month finding on a petition to list the Bearmouth mountainsnail, Byrne Resort mountainsnail, and meltwater lednian stonefly as endangered or threatened under the Endangered Species Act of 1973. The Service has determined that the meltwater lednian stonefly is warranted for listing, but its listing is currently precluded by higher priority actions, and it will be added to the candidate species list upon publication of the finding.
