US Department of the Interior Announces Interim Policy for Marine Hydrokinetic Technology Testing Offshore Florida

The US Department of the Interior has published a notice to involve various stakeholders in the leasing decision for an offshore technology testing facility on the Outer Continental Shelf (OCS) off the coast of Florida, in accordance with environmental regulations. This follows an interim policy announced in 2007 for authorizing leases for offshore data collection and technology testing facilities.
