US Fish and Wildlife Service Announces 12-Month Finding on Petition to List Several Plant Species as Threatened or Endangered

The US Fish and Wildlife Service has announced a 12-month finding on a petition to list five plant species, including Yellowstone sand verbena, Ross' bentgrass, and Fremont County rockcress, as threatened or endangered, and to designate critical habitat under the Endangered Species Act. The service has determined that listing three of the species is not warranted, but has decided to list Fremont County rockcress as threatened or endangered.
