BLM Announces Temporary Closures and Restrictions Near Burning Man Event

The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) has issued a notice to temporarily close public lands and restrict certain uses in Pershing County, Nevada, to ensure public safety and protect resources during the Burning Man event on the Black Rock Desert playa, effective under the Federal Land Policy and Management Act of 1976 (FLPMA).
