Boeing Proposes Special Conditions for 787-8 Airplane Design Feature

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is proposing special conditions for the Boeing Model 787-8 airplane, which includes an overhead flightcrew rest compartment that can be occupied during taxi, take-off, and landing, to ensure adequate safety standards.
